How to Fix Print Screen will not work on Windows 10?

  1. Hello Jessica, how are you?
    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

My name is Paloma B., I’m an independent advisor, I’m here to help you in the best possible way.

I understand that you have questions about the autosave printscreen.

The shortcut for this function is the opposite of the options you suggested.

To use this function you must hold the Windows key and then press PrtScn, that is, Windows+PrtScn.

This way a screenshot will be taken and automatically saved in the Images/ScreenCaptures folder.

Please try it this way to see if it works.

    I await news.

    Hi Paloma,

This does not work either. My screen will flash gray as if it is taking a screenshot, but I get no notification of a screenshot and it is not saved anywhere. I have tried all permutations and orientations of the keys mentioned above.

    Thanks
