Ask Temporary blank screen after logging in Windows 10

Windows 10 Trouble : Temporary blank screen after logging in
Error Trouble : Hello all, I have been experiencing some trouble with my Lenovo, windows 10 laptop.So every time I turn it on, after logging in there is a blank screen with cursor present for 3-5 minutes after which my regular screen does come back on.Is there any way to get rid of the temporary blank screen?This issue only occurs if I shut down the laptop, not when I put it on sleep.Idk if this even relevant but I started experiencing this issue after I connected an HDMI cable from my laptop to the TV.

How to Fix Temporary blank screen after logging in on Windows 10?

    I understand that you’re facing issues with black screen on your PC. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.


    For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:


    Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?

    What is the make and model of the PC?


    Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?


    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try restarting Explorer and see if that helps.


    Right click on Taskbar and click on Task Manager. This should open Task Manger console.

    Click on Details tab, look for explorer.exe.

    Right click on explorer.exe and click on End Task.

    The desktop will go blank and you should still have Task Manager on the screen.

    Click on File>>Run new task.

    Type explorer.exe and click on OK.

    This will restart the Windows Explorer.

    I tried restarting explorer but it did not help.
