How to Fix Cannot activate Windows 10 Professional (0xC004F211) after motherboard change on Windows 10?

  1. Hello, I’m Virginia an independent advisor with 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.
    Which Windows 10 build are you running – 1909, 2004, 20H2 or 21H1?

Was the original Home license (which you upgraded to Pro via Microsoft store) Retail or OEM? If OEM then the key/license died with the old motherboard as this license cannot be transferred to another PC, & a new MB is akin to a new PC.
Did you sign in to the PC with a Microsoft or a local account?
Have you run the Activation troubleshooter?
