Windows 10 Trouble : Can’t re-activate after hardware change – can’t contact support – Windows 10 RETAIL license
Error Trouble : Heyo.I bought windows 8.1 digital license back in 2015 and transferred it from computer to computer using my Microsoft account. Windows 10 worked fine with this key, always linked to my Microsoft account.A week ago I changed my motherboard and I can’t re-activate Windows now.Tried the suggested troubleshooting to no good end.Cannot contact support, the international phone number associated with my country says to go to help.microsoft.com.Chat doesn’t work, just offers call back and community support. Call back doesn’t work, just restarts conversation with virtual agent after I enter my country

I would suggest you to refer the section 0xC004F050 in the article Get help with Windows activation errors and see if that helps.

The “Reasons” listed for 0xC004F050 do not apply to my situation. It mentions contacting Customer Support, but I can’t do that, as I explained in my original post.

I’m at a loss here. I paid a bunch of money to get an original Windows 8.1 license, from Microsoft store page, RETAIL license, yet I can’t activate my Windows 10.
